Meet our founder, Lena
You know that feeling when life takes you on a path you didn't plan?
Well, that's pretty much the story behind Free Run Business Services. I’m Lena, the owner, and while my career path may seem like a wild obstacle course (pun totally intended), it's this exact winding journey that brought me here—helping small businesses streamline their operations.
Let me back up a bit. My professional career started in IT. I spent years climbing the corporate ladder, tackling everything from supporting senior executives at BHP Billiton, to playing tech fairy godmother at Walt Disney TV International (yes, Disney!). In between, I dabbled in managing helpdesk teams, implementing service-level agreements (SLAs), and making systems work smoothly—essentially, I got really good at problem-solving, process improvement, and making things run like a well-oiled machine.
After years of being the go-to person for keeping things together in the tech world, I accidentally (and I do mean accidentally) ventured into the world of fitness and opened Free Run Gym. For six years, I built a community where people could have fun, be healthy, and feel empowered—no matter their fitness level. When the pandemic hit in 2021, I was forced to close the gym, which was a tough pill to swallow, but it didn’t knock me out.
In fact, it led me to my next adventure: helping other small business owners. With a background in IT, project management, and entrepreneurship, I found a new way to help people—this time by helping businesses run smoother, more efficiently, and with less stress. Because, let’s face it, no one wants to spend hours juggling invoices, missed deadlines, and operational chaos. That's where I come in.
